The colour-coated area can resistant to commonly used laboratory solvents,including formaldehyde,alcohol,anhydrous acetone,xylene,chloroform,paraffin,acids,alkali and boiling water. The colour-coated can take up or retain excessive commonly used staining reagents.
The adhesive-coated area on the hole of the slides is hydrophile.It can allow the adherence of section or cytology specimen onto it wihtout marked loss during staining.Technical procedures with enzyme digestion,high temperature(115°) and high pressure,wet heating,microwaving,DNA de-naturation and RNA hybridization can be performed on these slides wihtout the loss of tissue sections adhered to them.The adhesive-coated area can prevent cell loss from cytological preparetions placed on these slides during enzyme digestion,DNA denaturation and RNA hybridization.
