Nessler glass tube is the main utensil used in visual colorimetric analysis in chemical experiments. It can be used to roughly measure solution concentration. The nessler glass tube with frosted glass stopper, which is used to make standard color gradient sealed with paraffin. It is mostly used in laboratories of iron and steel metallurgy, geological exploration, environmental protection, medical and health care, epidemic prevention stations and other departments. When colorimetric test, only one nessler tube compare with the standard solution nessler tube in a time. When contrast, two nessler tubes are placed in front of white paper with the same illumination, and the difference of colors is observed with naked eyes.

1.Nessler tube is not a test tube, can not be heated, and the wall of the nessler tube is thinner, should be handled lightly.
2.The same specification of nessler tube should be used in the same colorimetric experiment.
3.When cleaning the nessler tube, it is not possible to brush it with a hard brush, so as to avoid abrasion of the tube wall affecting the transmittance.
4.When colorimetric, only two nessler tubes are used for comparison at a time and the illumination conditions are the same.
